All of my studies and interests revolve around one basic principle. Empathy. In a world filled with an array of political views, values and beliefs, empathy allows a cacophonous world some harmony. My life with an immigrant family had chaotic moments but I always viewed every challenge as a learning experience to multitask and value resilience. Like many immigrant families, my parents started their life with blue collared jobs while providing me with the best education in one of the most affluent communities with the best school system. Initially, our lower socioeconomic status seemed like a disadvantage.; however, my empathy grew from this experience. I realized the importance of merging a socioeconomic class privileged enough to emphasize the importance of philanthropy and the socioeconomic class where financial struggles did not prioritize philanthropy. This empathy fueled my drive towards merging a realistic gap and fulfilling a consistent source of resources to those in need. Those in need are the ones most in need of consistency and dedication. This is why my values are based on empathy and excellence every day. Many of my endeavors also support environmental sustainability.
My ongoing relationship with the Washington DC Metro Area consists of serving organizations such as Children's National Hospital, families affected by the Covid-19 Pandemic, homeless shelters in need of garments or clean garments for potential job interviews, senior centers and first responders.
When there is a common goal there must be an empathetic yet assertive leader. My leadership experience consists of being the Varsity Golf Team Captain at McLean High School, Social Marketing Campaigner at JSK Companies where over a half a million dollar revenue increase occurred through my personal marketing campaigns and the Founder / President of JSK Charitable where some of our initiatives appeared on FOX 5 News.
